Why we built SpeakCrack
Most people don't fail an interview or pitch because they lacked knowledge. They fail because they never spoke their answers out loud before it mattered.
Communication advice on the internet has historically suffered from a fatal disconnect. You are told to “sound confident,” “maintain good pacing,” and “use the STAR methodology.” But reading articles about speaking is like reading manuals about swimming — when you jump into deep water, the manual vanishes from your mind.
We realized that the only thing that actually moves the needle in human speech is deliberate vocal rehearsal: speaking out loud in a safe, judgment-free room, seeing objective acoustic telemetry on where you hesitated, and repeating it with micro-adjustments until your vocal cords relax.
Md Shad Alam
Founder, SpeakCrack
As Founder, Md Shad Alam conceived SpeakCrack after observing firsthand how talented engineers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and ambitious students were repeatedly overlooked during crucial job opportunities.
“Vocal confidence is not a birthright reserved for extroverts. It is an engineering challenge. When you provide someone with sub-second feedback on their speech cadence and a private space to rehearse without fear of embarrassment, their entire presence transforms in weeks.”
Md Shad Alam directs the architectural vision and user experience of SpeakCrack, ensuring every acoustic diagnostic is constructive, actionable, and empathetic to non-native speakers.
